Miers Court Primary School is seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistant Apprentices, to start from September 2025.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development across all areas of the curriculum. You will work closely with Classroom Teachers and experienced Support Staff, assisting with individual and small-group activities to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Your contribution will also extend beyond the classroom, supporting children during playtimes, school events, and other wider learning opportunities.
This is a part-time, fixed-term role, Term Time Only, paid pro-rata to the Apprentice National Minimum Wage.
The working week will consist of 30.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day, as well as allocated study time outside of work for completing apprenticeship coursework.
The successful candidate will undertake on-the-job training alongside studying for a Teaching Assisting & Learning Support qualification.
