The postholder will lead a team of approximately 1,100 Project, Programme, and Construction Management professionals, serving as a respected senior leader within the Programme Management community. Reporting to the Global Head of Project, Programme, and Construction Management, this role will be the key interface for the Centre of Excellence across the European business. The role combines this accountability with active project work and support from sponsors within the property and infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Consult Global CoE lead to deliver the Consult Plan and PPM CoE framework across the Europe Hub.
* Identify and scope CoE requirements for the Europe Hub and lead the delivery of the CoE plan.
* Participate in the UK & Europe Consult Board and manage relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
* Lead the deployment of Mace Way standards and processes within the UK & Europe Hub.
* Ensure standards and processes are maintained through regular audits.
* Build a community within the UK & Europe to contribute to the Global CoE, facilitating learning, connection, and feedback collection.
* Stay updated on innovations and activities in the service line, providing feedback to the CoE.
* Identify, coach, and mentor talent, supporting professional growth and mobility.
* Develop the capability in the UK & Europe Hub, oversee training quality, and deliver training programs as needed.
* Support business development activities, including winning work and bidding processes.
* Engage in CoE activities and service development, mobilizing regional volunteers.
Requirements
* Mastery in Programme Delivery with proven experience in major programmes.
* Deep knowledge of Mace procedures relevant to the role.
* Understanding of contract and commercial procedures, including Hub P&L management.
* Experience across multiple market sectors.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to assure service delivery and provide actionable insights.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of key tools in the service delivery arena.
* Membership, Fellow, or Certified Fellow status with professional institutions.
* External networking, collaboration, and business development skills, with the ability to represent Mace on industry committees or boards.
