Concept:
Mareida has been founded by Prenay Agarwal to showcase Chilean cuisine in London following his time spent in the country and his love and passion for the food there. To that end, we have brought in Head Chef Trinidad Vial Della Maggiora to lead the kitchen who is, in turn supported by Chef Carolina Bazan. Bazan is very well known and respected having been voted Latin Americas Best Female Chef in 2019 by the Worlds 50 Best.
The food showcases dishes from coast to the mountains and the menu and includes some of the dishes that proved most popular at the Carousel residency last year such as milcao with caviar, a selectionof empanadas, alongside torched makerel with quinoa, avocado, pebre and chilli.
The wine list has been put together by sommelier Rosario Onetto and has a fully Chilean focus. It will reflect the diversity of the wine regions in the country, from the Noth in Atacama down to the South.
Role:As Chef de Partie you will be joining our launch team for this fantastic new restaurant. We are looking for motivated, warm, hard working team members that want to be a part of something special. You will need to have a passion for food and guest service, want to learn all about the delights of the cuisine and culture of Chile and want to have fun whilst ensuring that our guests have a consistently great experience.
Requirements:
* Min 3 years experience in a similar role
* Passion for food and learning
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
* Right to work in the UK
* Pride in appearance and performance
* Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced environment
* Knowledge of food safety is a bonus (although training will be given)
* Ability to start before the end of May
