Junior Sales Administration Assistant Location: Bridgwater, Head Office, Showground Road Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week Salary: £25,000.00 per annum STEF Langdons are experiencing exciting growth and we’re looking for a Junior Sales Administration Assistant to join our team. We deliver to almost any location in the UK or Ireland within 24 hours, operating from 11 depots with a fleet of 375 vehicles. The role: Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, you will assist in administering all duties and projects that fall under the responsibility of the sales department, as well as carrying out general administrative duties. What you’ll do:. Provide administrative support to the Sales Support Administrator and Regional Account Managers/Sales Executives across the UK. Process, progress and monitor customer orders, including booking jobs where required. Process customer payments and maintain accurate daily records. Assist with the preparation of customer estimates and quotations. Handle enquiries from new and existing customers, ensuring a professional and timely response. Process new customer accounts, including credit applications and system set-up. Maintain accurate sales records, documentation and internal systems (e.g. SAP and CRM). Support sales activity, including marketing materials and customer communications. Manage customer queries and complaints, escalating where appropriate. Provide general sales support and cover within the Sales Office as required. Undertake any other duties to support the effective operation of the sales department. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (sales experience desirable). Understanding of business operations and sales environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks, working to deadlines. A proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and solve problems. Numerate, with the ability to handle basic financial information accurately. A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support others. Calm under pressure and able to manage a varied workload. Desirable: Experience using systems such as SAP or CRM. Knowledge of customer-focused service delivery. Business Administration qualification (Level 2 or equivalent). Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
