Job summary
We are currently looking for a Health Care Support Worker to join our dedicated team on our busy ward.
Ward 24 is a modern, mixed medical ward caring for patients across a range of specialties, with a particular focus on Haematology, Cardiology, and Acute Medicine. The ward features 24 beds, including 12 single en-suite rooms, offering a comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients. Our team provides care for a wide variety of acute conditions and takes pride in delivering high standards of compassionate, patient-centred care.

* Flexible approach

Experience

* Able to demonstrate clear and robust verbal and written English communication skills
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Previous care work experience
* Previous face-to-face customer care experience
Desirable
* Previous experience in a hospital setting
Further Training

* Able to attend a 5-day Clinical Induction
* Committed to attending further training and development as identified
Qualifications

* NVQ 2 in care or willingness to work towards
* Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above
* Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement
