Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: Bestwood Village School – Nottingham, NG6 8TL
Salary: up to £60,000 FTE DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term – Maternity Leave cover
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Role and Responsibilities
* Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Bestwood Village School and collaborate with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead.
* Split time between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need (autism and other neurodivergent conditions, developmental trauma, SEMH).
* Focus on meeting EHCP needs through OFG’s clinical approaches (all, group, and individual).
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and lead service development of the school-based clinical service with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Collaborate with education teams to create an environment where pupils can flourish and gain independence.
Location: Bestwood Village School forms part of our Options Autism brand, an independent specialist day school supporting pupils aged 7–16.
Essential Criteria
* Degree qualification in a specified discipline plus leadership and management experience.
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and in a growing clinical service, with multi-professional collaboration preferred.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
