We have a career developing opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our paediatric dietetic team. Previous experience in this speciality is not essential and we are encouraging applications from those who may be considering specialising in Paediatrics You will be a part of an award winning, proactive dietetic department at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford. As an integral member of the MDT, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in the dietetic management of paediatric patients in a supportive environment with peer supervision and on the job training. We are looking for someone who has good rapport with patients and staff and has an interest in Paediatrics. You will join our dietetic team at The Royal Surrey County Hospital. The post covers general paediatric inpatient and outpatient work. We need a team player who takes pride in providing an efficient and effective dietetic service. You should have high-level communication skills, be effective in multidisciplinary team working and be able to deliver both group education and individual interventions. You will have the opportunity to be involved in audits and other service development initiatives within the dietetic department. The post holder will provide clinical paediatric dietetic support to inpatients and outpatients, including direct access GP referrals to dietitian led clinics at The Royal Surrey Hospital.
