Position Overview

The Centre for Sustainable Action (CSA) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive sales of our innovative learning products, including the SDG Assessment Learning Journey, Certificate in Sustainability Strategy, and Master Class offerings. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach within the UK, Ireland, and EU markets, promoting sustainability education and practices.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, and outreach efforts. Utilize CRM tools to manage and track leads.


* Sales Outreach: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage prospects and introduce them to CSA’s learning products.


* Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of CSA’s learning offerings and sustainability frameworks to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.


* Market Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the UK, Ireland, and EU markets. Attend relevant industry events and webinars to promote CSA’s learning products.


* Feedback Loop: Gather insights from prospects and clients to inform product development and marketing strategies.


* Collaboration: Work closely with our affiliates, sales and marketing teams to align strategies and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration.


* Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.


Person Specification


Essential Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or a related field.


* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the education, sustainability, or corporate training sectors.


* Multi-lingual Skills: Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., Spanish, French, or German) to engage diverse markets effectively.


* Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the UK, Ireland, and EU markets, including understanding of regional sustainability trends and educational needs.


Skills and Attributes

* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.


* Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities; adept at networking with various stakeholders, including corporate clients and educational institutions.


* Sales Acumen: Proven track record in lead generation and sales development, with a results-oriented mindset.


* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.


* Adaptability: Flexible and open to learning; able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


* Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in sustainability, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
