A well‑regardedschool in Tewkesbury is seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their team on a 4‑day‑a‑week basis, starting from Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist who is passionate about the subject and confident delivering high‑quality lessons.
The Role
1. Teaching Sociology across Key Stages (KS4/KS5 depending on timetable)
2. 4 days per week
3. Starting after Easter and continuing through the Summer term
4. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements
5. Working within a supportive humanities department
About You
We’re looking for a teacher who:
6. Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
7. Has experience teaching Sociology
8. Creates inclusive, stimulating classroom environments
9. Demonstrates strong behaviour management and clearmunication
10. Ismitted, organised and confident delivering high‑quality lessons
