Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
5. Handle supplier queries and resolve any discrepancies effectively.
6. Prepare payment runs and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
7. Assist in month-end closing activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
9. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
10. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. A background in accounting or finance, preferably end to end purchase ledger.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
15. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to meet deadlines.
