Salary: £25,000.00
Hours: Full time 8.30am - 5.00pm
Location: Southport, with some multi-site travel across the North West

We're looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator / Assistant to join our friendly HR team at our Southport Head Office. You'll provide vital administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, supporting our people processes to run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team.
2. Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems and personnel files.
3. Assist with recruitment administration, including posting job adverts, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
4. Support the onboarding process for new starters, including induction materials, and pre-employment checks.
5. Help manage absence records, holidays, and training documentation.
6. Assist with HR reporting and data collation as required.
7. Provide general support across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to leavers and offboarding.

Essential Skills & Attributes ·

8. Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
9. Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
12. A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
13. Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.

Desirable / Advantageous ·

14. Previous experience in an administrative, payroll or HR support role.
15. Knowledge of HR systems or databases.
16. Understanding of basic HR processes and employment matters.
17. CIPD qualification (Level 3) or working towards it.
18. Experience within the motor trade or a multi-site organisation.
