Job Title: Attendance AdministratorLocation: WirralStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Temporary (Until July 2026), Term Time Only, Tuesday to Friday
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and systems? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Attendance Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student attendance and safeguarding processes within a busy school environment.
The Role:
* Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately
* Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures
* Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure appropriate documentation is received
* Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns
* Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
* Experience using Arbor
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Confidence using computer systems and attendance software
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data
* Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours:
* Tuesday to Friday
* 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
* Term time only
