Role overview
Speech and Language Therapist covering maternity leave for one year at Luxborough Court School, an independent specialist day school in Essex catering to pupils with autism and related needs.
Responsibilities
* Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic learning environments.
* Conduct clinical assessments and formulation to offer individualised interventions for young people with complex needs.
* Deliver therapeutic interventions and engage children and young people with complex needs.
* Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning experiences.
* Provide supervision, training and contribute to clinical development programmes.

Qualifications & experience
* Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC.
* Specialist with proven skills to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions for children with complex needs.
* Experience supporting teams around a child or young person in clinically informed environments.
* Confident, engaging, effective model, guide, leader and trainer.
* Highly organised and proactive.
* Committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
