Senior business analyst

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a high‑profile Securities Services transformation programme. The role is focused on transaction management, post‑trade processing, and front‑to‑back automation across OTC products.

This is a process‑led, client‑facing role, requiring strong hands‑on experience in transaction monitoring, trade lifecycle management, and the use of Markit platforms. You will work closely with Tier 1 institutional clients, as well as product, technology, and operations teams.

Key experience Required (Critical)

1. Strong transaction management / transaction monitoring experience within financial services
2. Proven background in OTC trade lifecycle and post‑trade processing
3. Hands‑on Markit experience is essential (must‑have)
4. Senior, process‑led Business Analyst experience (not purely technical or platform‑only)

Platform Exposure

5. Markit – essential (core requirement for the role)
6. Calypso – highly desirableexperience working with Calypso across trade lifecycle, processing, automation, or change initiatives is a strong advantage
