The Job Role
Working within the Consumer Product Management Team you will provide assistance and support across forecasting, vendor management, NPI management, stock allocations and B2B & retail operations to manage a portfolio of product lines across a number of vendors including HP, Lenovo, Acer and Asus. The successful candidate will be passionate about Consumer products, and demonstrate commitment, focus and excellent attention to detail.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing assistance & support to manage portfolio of products including Forecasting, Vendor management, NPI management, stock allocations, B2B & retail operations.
* Managing sales forecasts and simplifying current processes.
* Manage queries from resellers and internal Sales teams at Westcoast regarding lead times, product queries and pricing.
* Work with purchasing team to raise Purchase Orders to be placed on Vendor.
* Understanding the vendor purchasing and scheduling process for Product Lines.
* Proactively work with resellers, internal sales and retail sales teams to gather monthly / quarterly forecasts to help assist the business in setting monthly targets.
* Stock Allocation of all incoming products lines, ensuring available stock is assigned to backorders.
* Manage expectations on lead times for products, ensuring any product constraints are communicated internally.
* Liaise with product data team to add new product lines to the internal system and website.
* Maintain pricelists, and communicate pricelists to customers and internal sales teams.
* Proactively work with vendor supply chains to chase outstanding orders.
* Participate in weekly conference calls with vendors regarding scheduling activities, shipment plans, PO shortages and AOB.
* Check pricing and approve any NMC requests, ensuring Westcoast are not selling below cost price.
* Actively work and promote key vendor priorities.
