Your new role
As a passionate, adept individual, your primary responsibility is to support the purchasing and supply chain functions. Providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to improving the operations' productivity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
2. Liaise with suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships
3. Support contract administration and ensurepliance with procurement guidelines
4. Assist in invoice reconciliation and budget tracking
5. Maintain procurement databases and ensure data integrity
6. Collaborate with internal departments to meet purchasing needs and timelines
7. Monitor stock levels and support inventory management
8. Prepare reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews
What you'll need to succeed
To ensure success in this highly visible role, you will have:
9. Previous experience in a procurement or administrative role
10. Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain principles
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
12. Excellentmunication and organisational skills
13. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
14. Knowledge of public and private sector procurement practices is desirable.
