An Audit Manager is being recruited for a large, established and growing accountancy firm based in Southampton. As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients including managing the relationship between the client and the engagement team. You would supervise a team to deliver exceptional client service and high quality audits. Specific responsibilities will include: Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met. Monitoring quality and managing risk Establish relationship with key contacts Identify and highlight any opportunities for the practice to support Plan, assign, monitor and review workof the team Managing fees and billings across the portfolio Understand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the clients business. Ensure deadlines met You will need to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have proven audit and accounts experience gained within a professional practice, together with strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, supervisory skills and the ability to delegate work and manage several assignments at the same time.
