Role - Commercial Finance Business Partner

Key Responsibilities
• Review business performance and highlight opportunities for improvement
• Produce high quality reporting, modelling and financial insights that inform strategic decisions
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for your areas
• Work hand in hand with commercial teams on early-stage pricing and customer discussions
• Lead on cost and pricing models, challenging and shaping pricing strategy
• Partner with Commercial teams to ensure new products land with strong commercial outcomes
• Build and maintain clear KPIs that reflect real business drivers
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, supporting smart, forward-looking decisions
• Create and deliver monthly IBP presentations and analysis
• Oversee ingredient margin budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure costing and pricing models remain accurate, robust and fit for purpose
• Champion continuous improvement across reporting, modelling and processes
Skills and Experience Required
• Excellent financial analysis and Excel modelling skills, with confidence handling complex data
• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Ability to turn numbers into meaningful insights, recommendations and clear storytelling
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of key P&L drivers
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial teams
• Confident influencing decisions and constructively challenging stakeholders
• Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and working independently
• Experience identifying issues, improving processes and driving change
• Results-focused, with evidence of delivering impact in fast-moving environments
• Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for smarter, faster ways to work
• Skilled stakeholder manager who can balance competing priorities and engage harder-to-reach teams
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal, and strong team player
Desirable
• Background in commercial accounting
• Experience with costing and pricing models
• Exposure to BI or data reporting systems
