About the role:
* You would need strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences, always maintain a safe environment, and being able to adapt to different situations.
* Prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays.
* Plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students.
* Mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.
* Manage the work of teaching assistants.
* Organise trips, after school clubs and sports events.
* Work and attend meetings and training outside of usual working hours.
* Adapting to different subjects and grade levels as needed.
* Collaborating with other staff members to support student needs.
Requirements for the role:
1. Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK.
2. Hold a DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
