Our client, a global manufacturer located in Oakham, Rutland, are seeking a Development Engineer to join their Engineering team! The role consists of managing and developing Engineering projects and providing additional support to the Engineering department.

The Role:
* Identifying opportunities for potential improvements in processes and machinery, and making recommendations accordingly
* Write equipment specifications and request quotations
* Managing and developing engineering projects, whilst ensuring processes are in compliance with company regulations and within budget limitations
* Adhering to Health and Safety requirements
* Providing second-line support to the Engineering Team, such as installing and commissioning new equipment
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Experienced electrically biased engineer, with a good knowledge of PLC’s
* Strong knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics
* Excellent computer skills, proficient with CAD systems
* Capable of working as part of a team with relatively little supervision and using own initiative
* Flexible and willing to work in a high-paced environment
