Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer of quality Food ingredients & finished products. This client remains a family run-business whilst leading the market within the UK with state of the art production facilities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant to join the team, reporting directly to the Commercial Director.
What your tasks are:
Administrative Support
* Prepare, organise & maintain documents & reports related to sales, procurement & market analysis.
* Maintaining spreadsheets & assisting in the preparation of presentations for internal & external meetings.
* Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the Commercial Director, ensuring timely & effective responses.
* Provide administrative assistance in the procurement processes, including document preparation and supplier communication.
* Support the commercial director by managing customer related paperwork, sales reports & CRM database updates.
* Assist with the coordination of marketing materials & sales promotions.
* Help gather & organise market research and intelligence to support strategic decisions.
Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis & presentation preparation.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good problem solving ability.
* Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
