The Display & Programmatic Manager at Hargreaves Lansdown plays a critical role in the planning, execution, and optimisation of display and programmatic advertising campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Paid Media Manager, this role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and acquisition through data-driven media strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and managing end to end display and programmatic media strategies across multiple platforms.
* Collaborating with media agencies and technology partners to execute campaigns effectively.
* Monitoring and optimise campaign performance using analytics tools and dashboards.
* Ensuring campaigns are aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
* Managing budgets, forecasts, and reporting for display and programmatic channels.
* Working with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging.
* Conducting A/B testing and audience segmentation to improve campaign effectiveness.
* Staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices as well as competitor activity in programmatic advertising and using that insight to optimize and improve display and programmatic advertising campaigns
* Providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders based on campaign performance.
* Supporting cross-channel integration with other paid media activities.
About you
* Strong understanding of programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk).
* Proficiency in campaign management, optimisation, and reporting.
* Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Proven experience in a display or programmatic media role, preferably within a regulated industry.
* Experience managing media budgets and working with external agencies.
* Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance in digital advertising.
* Certification in relevant platforms (e.g., Google Marketing Platform) is a plus.

This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
