Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£525 - £550 per week (salary is dependent upon experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
We are looking for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small, unique primary school in the South Shields area of South Tyneside. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general support as well as taught lessons, working as part of an established school team. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both quality and comprehensive teaching to deliver an excellent pupil development programme. The school is ideally seeking a minimum of a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification, however would be open to other teaching qualifications if they are relevant.
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. Experience delivering teaching to primary school aged children
3. A passion for ensuring the development of pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
5. Ideally Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification, however other relevant teaching qualifications will be considered
