Lecturer in Electrical Installation
Are you passionate about Electrical Installation and excited about sharing your knowledge? Whether you're an experienced educator or someone eager to transition into teaching, we're looking for individuals with a deep understanding of Electrical Installation studies. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise and contribute to the growth of our apprentices on the Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship.
The Position
We’re looking for a Lecturer in Electrical Installation. Are you passionate about Electrical Installation and excited about sharing your knowledge? Whether you're an experienced educator or someone eager to transition into teaching, we're looking for individuals with a deep understanding of Electrical Installation studies. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise and contribute to the growth of our apprentices on the Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship.
What Skills Are We Looking For
* Electrical Installation Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of Health & Safety, Installation Methods, Crafty Skills, Science and Principles.
* Passion for Teaching: Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and fostering apprentice curiosity.
* Student Guidance: Supportive mentoring for apprentices of different backgrounds and abilities.
* Collaboration: Willingness to work with colleagues to improve the Electrical Installation apprenticeship program.
* Adaptability and Innovation: Openness to new teaching methods and staying updated with industry trends.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage classroom activities and materials efficiently.
* Interpersonal Skills: Establishing rapport with apprentices and collaborating well with colleagues and industry partners.
Responsibilities for the Role
* Formal scheduled teaching
* Progress Reviews and student assessment
* Management of learning programmes and curriculum development
* Apprenticeship induction
* Educational guidance
* Preparation of learning materials and apprentice assessments
* Marking of apprentices’ work
* Marking of examinations
* Management and supervision of apprentice visit programmes
* Research and other forms of scholarly activity related to the effective delivery of the curriculum
* Marketing activities
* Consultancy
* Leadership of part-time staff
* Administration and organisational activities
* Personal professional development
* Development of workshop materials
* To liaise with vocational tutors

The site is based at Nuneaton.

* Unqualified 23-27- £28,362 - £31,892
* Qualified- 28-36 £32,843 -£41,582
* Plus, a market supplement fully consolidated worth £3.5K
