The school offers:

Small classes

High levels of classroom and pastoral support

A multi-disciplinary intervention team

A personalised, inclusive curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum

The Role

We are seeking a THRIVE Practitioner to support the pastoral and SEND teams in delivering an effective Thrive provision. The role focuses on supporting students' emotional, social and behavioural development to help increase engagement, build resilience and remove barriers to learning.

Work may also take place at a nearby satellite site when required.

Assist in the daily operation of the Thrive provision, including supervision, planning and implementing personalised programmes.

Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, modelling appropriate behaviours and responses.

Provide creative, play-based and arts-based experiences that promote experiential learning.

Deliver 1:1 sessions, small-group work and whole-class wellbeing activities.

Develop constructive relationships with parents and families; contribute to feedback and review meetings.

Promote inclusive practice across the school and encourage positive approaches to supporting learners at risk.

Provide clear and objective feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and emotional development.

Assist with ongoing assessments and contribute to the creation of up-to-date Thrive action plans.
