We are seeking a Client Service Representative who excels in customer relations, enjoys building long-term relationships, and is adept at problem solving. This role offers stability and opportunities for personal and professional growth within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary communication link between clients and laboratory operations.
* Respond to emails and phone calls to resolve issues and questions related to receipt, entry, testing, reporting, and billing of routine samples.
* Interpret and communicate technical information and manage stakeholder requirements.
* Manage client expectations by providing project updates and financial information, and gathering feedback on work scope implementation.
* Take appropriate actions and escalate issues to management when services deviate from expectations.
* Collaborate in a team environment to meet departmental and company goals.
* Support sales efforts during the bid process to secure repeat and new business.
* Work with the Business Development team to onboard opportunities and ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* A desire to learn; comprehensive training will be provided.
* Ability to prioritize tasks independently.
* Capacity to learn new techniques, multitask, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or current pursuit preferred.
* Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior customer service experience in a scientific or GMP/pharmaceutical environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or case management software is a plus.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Candidates residing within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
