Position - This is a full time position; you will be working in the salon Wednesday to Saturday, with in-salon training once a week on a Monday. This will be at the McGuigan Salon in Leighton Buzzard or at our sister salon, Alchemy and I in Berkhamsted. You will be working towards an NVQ Level 2 qualification, with a fully accredited training provider.
Summary - As an Apprentice, your responsibilities include adhering to workplace protocols, following health and safety guidelines, maintaining training records, and completing tasks essential to obtaining a qualification. Successful candidates will exhibit a strong work ethic, be able to follow instructions, and thrive in team-based environments.

Learning & Development/Education
1. Attend training sessions required to obtain qualifications and complete additional company or team training as needed.
2. Participate in extra training during working hours if necessary.
3. Engage in training outside working hours as required by the qualification provider.
4. Complete training assignments promptly to fulfil qualification requirements.
Service Standards

In-Salon Responsibilities

6. Replenish stock for colour, retail, and professional items.
7. Maintain general tidiness (e.g., salon cleanliness)
8. Handle client payments following the client journey.
9. Adhere to skin testing protocols and uphold the "Salon Emotion" philosophy.
