Secondment Procedure
* Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview.

* The candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
NHS Forth Valley is responsible for monitoring the health and provision of health care for a population of 284,000 in a mixed urban‑rural region of Central Scotland.
Increasingly, the NHS relies on the use of IT systems to improve the care given to patients. The team is responsible for the implementation, project management, user training/coaching, and facilitating benefits realisation.
Position
We are seeking to appoint a full‑time Project Manager (37 hours) with relevant experience in Healthcare IT projects.
Responsibilities
A key aspect of your role will be managing the rollout of a number of Digital projects, including our asset refresh programme within NHS Forth Valley. You will engage with users (e.g., clinical staff), suppliers and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Project management experience.
* Excellent business/process analysis skills.
* Degree level education or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Relevant IT qualifications and demonstrable experience in the use of IT.
* Knowledge of clinical IM&T systems used in NHS is desirable.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
The post requires the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
Benefits and Working Hours
We offer hybrid working, which includes travelling to locations across NHS Forth Valley and working from home.
As of 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
