We are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time, term-time-only role, ideal for someone looking to work in a dynamic and rewarding secondary school environment. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Your New Job
* Provide classroom support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEND).
* Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support to help students achieve their learning goals.
* Assist with lesson preparation and resource development.
* Support students' emotional wellbeing and behaviour management.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure inclusive education.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a secondary school or with young people aged 11-16.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding, SEND, and inclusive learning strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting students.
* You must also hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check registered on the update service.
