We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Plumber Multi to join our dynamic regional team. This mobile role will require coverage for our contracts in Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth & the Isle of Wight; there may also be a requirement to cover contracts in Wider Hampshire, Horsham, Woking & Windsor.

ROLE SUMMARY
We seek a conscientious and enthusiastic Regional Plumber Multi with a can-do attitude and flexibility. The role involves carrying out a wide range of domestic and commercial plumbing repairs for local authorities (reactive and void works), education providers in occupied student accommodation, commercial buildings, lecture theatres, offices, and ancient monuments. Tasks include fitting sanitary ware, pipework, servicing PPM and reactive repairs, working on unvented systems, and minor carpentry, tiling, and decorative works.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Diagnose and rectify faults related to plumbing and other trades.
* Ensure work quality meets high standards.
* Support trades in delivering professional maintenance and repairs.
* Respond swiftly to emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
* Work efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing non-productive time, adhering to health & safety regulations, using risk assessments, method statements, and PPE.
* Work out of hours as required and participate in the call-out rota.
* Assist other contracts as directed by the Contract Manager.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Ability to communicate professionally with residents, tenants, and representatives, especially when explaining works.
* Ability to complete work thoroughly and in one visit.
* Organized approach to meet demands effectively and timely.
* Practical health and safety awareness, ensuring safety for self and others.
* Problem-solving skills to determine necessary repairs based on previous experience.
* Self-management and motivation, prioritizing and planning work efficiently.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
* Demonstrated competence as a tradesperson with appropriate tools.
* Knowledge of technical, statutory, and legislative requirements related to plumbing.
* Understanding of materials and methods used in building maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* Trade-specific qualification, minimum NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plumbing.
* At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance and educational environments.
* Competent in two secondary skills.
* Full valid driving license.
