The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to support the technical management, compliance, and development of a diverse range of HVAC equipment, support systems, fixings, fasteners, anchors, and installation products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically focused professional with experience in product specifications, datasheet creation, compliance, and technical support within HVAC, building services, or construction products.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain technical datasheets, specifications, installation guides, and compliance documentation.
* Manage technical product information and document control processes.
* Ensure products comply with relevant legislation, standards, certifications, and industry requirements.
* Monitor regulatory changes and maintain technical approvals and certification records.
* Support supplier and product evaluations, approvals, and technical reviews.
* Provide technical advice on product selection, application, installation, and compliance.
* Investigate technical issues, product failures, and warranty claims.
* Support continuous improvement in product quality, documentation, and compliance processes.
About You
You will have:
* Experience within HVAC, building services, air conditioning distribution, or construction products.
* Proven experience producing technical datasheets, specifications, and compliance documentation.
* Knowledge of HVAC systems, support systems, fixings, fasteners, anchors, and installation products.
* Strong understanding of relevant standards, legislation, and product compliance requirements.
* Excellent technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
* The ability to interpret technical drawings, product data, and engineering information.
Qualifications
* Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC, or a related discipline preferred.
* Previous experience in a technical, engineering, product management, applications, or technical support role.
