Recovery Coordinator
Location: Whinney Hill, DH1 3BQ
Salary: £24,020 - £30,790 per annum
An exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator has arisen within our recovery co-ordination team based at the Centre for Change in Durham city centre.
The role of a Recovery Coordinator involves managing a service user caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing recovery plans and treatments. You will liaise closely with the team, including family members and significant others as appropriate, to help set and achieve recovery goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Duties:
1. Manage a caseload by devising, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
2. Facilitate individuals' progression from engagement through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
3. Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the community.
4. Collaborate with partners and colleagues to achieve positive health and well-being outcomes.
5. Work within the community, including GP surgeries, mental health services, and other partner agencies.

This role requires working across Durham, including weekends and late nights on a rolling rota, and willingness to travel across the area.
