Job Title: OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse
Reporting to: Group Nursing Manager
Location: Abbey House Veterinary Hospital Morley
Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata
Hours: Permanent, the shifts are Week 1 – 7pm to 8:30am Monday to Thursday and Week 2 – Monday 3pm-11pm, Tuesday 5pm-11pm, Wednesday 5pm-11pm, Thursday 5pm-11pm.
Responsibilities
Abbey House Vets are looking for a dedicated and experienced RVN who has a keen desire in the emergency field to join as an OOH RVN. The right candidate will be able to work in a team but also have the efficiency to work independently to provide excellent patient and client care. You will be working alongside a dedicated night VS and PCA for the full night shift, alongside twilight PCA/SVN support throughout the week.

About us
Abbey house is composed of 6 veterinary clinics across West Yorkshire including our main hospital in Morley. We see both primary care and mid-tier referrals. Our facilities consist of digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, a dental suite and an intensive care unit with an incubator.
The team
You’ll be surrounded by highly experienced RVNs who are all passionate about delivering exceptional clinical and client care in a friendly and collaborative environment. Within our vet team we have a range of skills including a surgical referral surgeon and an ophthalmology referral surgeon. As a team, we’re committed to clinical excellence, sharing ideas and supporting each other to develop comprehensive and innovative solutions that deliver the best care for our patients. We work hard to ensure rotas and schedules are balanced and fair, giving you the time you need between cases and to genuinely have a work/life balance.
