Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be working in partnership with our distilling client for a Distillery Process Operator to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

In this role you will:
Carry out all operational tasks within the distillery in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This includes working across milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, and maturation, as well as supporting service and utilities plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the health & safety of yourself and others, while promoting a strong HSE culture.
* Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality and production targets are met.
* Monitor, inspect, and test raw materials and products in process, taking corrective action where needed.
* Support continuous improvement activities including daily operational reviews, root cause analysis, and 5S.
* Participate fully in team meetings and site maintenance activities.
* Act as an ambassador for the distillery and its values.
About You:
* Chemical or process engineering graduate, or GCD/Diploma in Brewing & Distilling – alternatively, practical experience in a processing or manufacturing environment (distilling, brewing, or food & drink preferred).
* Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* A proactive team player who takes pride in their work.
