Our client is a leading specialist in testing for ventilation and fire safety. They specialise in indoor air quality, fire safety, and compliance services for building ventilation systems. Their work focuses on making sure air systems are safe, clean, and compliant with legal regulations. They’re trusted by some of the UK’s largest organisations to ensure compliance, safety, and system efficiency. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a driven Sales Engineer to join their team in the South. This will be someone who can nurture existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
This is a field-based, autonomous role where your initiative and customer-focus will drive success. You’ll be managing a well-established portfolio of clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, as well as proactively targeting new business within the region.
You'll also work closely with operations teams to oversee project delivery—bringing a commercial mindset to project management while ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Work with CRM Dynamics to maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking
* Provide technical sales solutions aligned to client needs
* Oversee and coordinate project execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Achieve and exceed sales targets—with uncapped commission
The Candidate
* Proven sales experience in a similar industry (fire/ventilation testing and compliance)
* Strong project management and coordination skills
* Self-starter who thrives working independently
* Comfortable using CRM tools
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Full UK driving licence
