The Role:
As an EIA Consultant, you will play a key part in supporting and coordinating environmental assessments across a range of development projects. You'll work closely with planning and design teams, environmental specialists, and clients to deliver projects that minimise environmental impact while promoting sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of EIA projects and manage input from a range of technical specialists
Research and write Environmental Statements and related planning reports
Liaise with planning officers, consultees, and clients to progress projects efficiently
Support the wider ESE team on socio-economic and health impact assessments
Contribute to the growth and development of a high-performing, collaborative team
About You:
Degree in a relevant environmental, planning, or related discipline
Demonstrable EIA experience (ideally 2+ years)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of UK environmental planning regulations and the EIA process
Interest in wider social and environmental disciplines, including sustainability and socio-economics
Strong integrity, enthusiasm, and the ability to work proactively within a team
