Responsibilities
- Provide specialised podiatry treatments using advanced skills and knowledge.
- Autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage patients, including those with high‑risk factors.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans, adopting a problem‑solving approach and engaging patients and carers in their care.
- Deliver general and specialist foot health advice, including carrying out regular nail surgery sessions on a rotational basis.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Delegate appropriate care tasks to podiatry assistants when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments and treatment plans.
- Ensure clinical rooms and equipment meet infection control standards and Podiatry service guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of clinical standards, protocols, and service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain focus and precision while performing complex, physically demanding procedures in a busy clinical environment.

In this role, you will deliver high quality, person‑centred podiatry care, working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
You will also support the day‑to‑day running of the service, contributing to clinical standards, service improvement and the development of junior staff.
