We’re recruiting a Hatchery Operative to join a well-established site near Dereham. This is a varied role that suits someone reliable, detail-focused and comfortable working to high hygiene and welfare standards. What You’ll Be Doing: Support the chick processing process, working carefully and accurately. Help with vaccination, grading and packing in line with site procedures. Operate basic hatchery equipment and machinery as part of the daily workflow. Maintain excellent hygiene standards through regular cleaning and sanitation. Assist with general hatchery operations, including preparation tasks and record keeping. Follow strict biosecurity procedures to protect animal health and site standards. What We’re Looking For: Experience in poultry, farming, food production or similar environments is helpful but not essential. A careful, consistent approach with strong attention to detail.
