Description
* Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple holding companies.
* Manage intercompany loan transactions, including repayments and interest.
* Oversee accounting for dividend flows between group entities.
* Collaborate with Group Treasury on cash pooling and FX-related transactions.
* Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
* Support the preparation of year-end financial statements (2025).
* Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
* Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit queries as needed.
Profile
The successful applicant should have:
* AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with strong accounting fundamentals.
* Proven experience in preparing monthly management accounts.
* Comfortable managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
* Exposure to cash pooling and FX (foreign exchange) transactions.
* Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
* Experience working in or with holding companies or group structures.
* Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
* Confident working independently and collaborating with wider teams.
* Strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.
* Adaptable and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
