Production Support Administrator
BAE Portsmouth Naval Base
Contract: 8 Months
£12.60 PAYE per hour
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations team as a Production Support Assistant. You will play a key role in assisting with production planning operations and ensuring all pre-requisites for production activities are met.
Key Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access and ERP systems for planning tasks.
* Logical, analytical, and structured approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to support team members.
* Previous experience in a production planning or similar role is desirable but not essential.
The Job:
* Assist in planning operations by using the Work Management Tool effectively.
* Ensure pre-requisites for the Yellow Board are achieved by liaising with Production Planners.
* Attach relevant documents, create work packs, and update locations, references, and work instructions.
* Maintain and manage production documentation and ensure all requirements are met for production readiness.
* Support stakeholders in gathering information to facilitate planning activities.
* Help create work packs for production, including printing drawings, reference materials, and ensuring work instructions are clear and complete.
