About this RoleAs a Fleet Administration Assistant within our Vans division, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality, compliance and commercial performance of our hire fleet. Reporting to the Operations Maintenance & Damage Supervisor, you will ensure vehicle maintenance provision and damage recharge recovery are managed to the highest standard in line with the DGV Operations Manual. Maintain the condition and presentation of the hire fleet, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy, compliant, clean and fit for hire. Support accurate “check in” and “check out” inspections, identifying damage and securing customer recharge authorisation. Liaise with customers regarding maintenance, MOTs, recalls and compliance events, issuing documentation in line with procedure. Supervise and schedule work for the Mobile Mechanic and control onsite maintenance stock when required. Provide cover across branch operations including rental agreements, invoicing and vehicle sales preparation. About YouYou are customer-focused, organised and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, price-sensitive market. You take pride in high standards, communicate clearly and are comfortable balancing compliance, commercial awareness and service delivery. Full, valid UK driving licence. Experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel.
