Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Children’s Nurse to join our Children’s Emergency Department team. The role is based at two sites – Queen’s Hospital in Romford and King George Hospital in Goodmayes – where we provide a wide range of paediatric and surgical services to our local communities.
You will deliver the highest standard of evidence‑based, patient‑centred care and support the Matron and Senior Multi‑Disciplinary Team in ensuring high‑quality, patient‑focused care within the Children’s Emergency Service.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a clinical leader and role model while delivering direct quality patient care.
* Participate in the day‑to‑day clinical and operational management of the department.
* Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to professional nursing issues and clinical governance.
* Support the training and development of staff, recognising the positive impact on children and families.
* Up‑date your own clinical knowledge and skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
