Overview

Join to apply for the Customer Service Assistant role at Vita Group in Lewisham.

Hourly Rate: £14

Working Hours: 6am – 9pm, 25 hours per week

Contract Duration: Fixed term contract, 2 months

Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers studios to suit residents' lives with privacy or shared living, plus premium amenities and a vibrant city life. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our students.


Responsibilities

* Front of House / Reception; greet and welcome students and guests with a warm, friendly and vibrant attitude.
* Be on hand for questions which may arise.
* Ensure facilities are looked after respectfully by residents & guests.
* Maintain the upkeep of the premium site & facilities; communal areas cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
* Deliver solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
* Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours surveying and reporting every area of the building.
* Replenish refreshment stock (coffee beans, tea bags, milk, vending machine items).
* Manage & store parcels so students can access deliveries easily.
* Be the primary point of contact for any potential incident or emergency on site.
* Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, addressing hazards as required.


Experience & Skills

* Professional Experience: An experienced customer service professional, skilled in delivering premium experiences.
* Hands-on, proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
* Technologically astute; capable of using various software and systems that support operations.


Personal Characteristics

* Respectful of a multi-cultural environment; commits to equality and inclusion for colleagues and residents.
* Excellent communication skills; multi-lingual abilities are welcome.
* Strong organisational and leadership qualities with calmness under pressure.
* Adaptability, creativity & positivity; resilience to navigate unexpected situations.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with reasonable adjustments as required.
* Flexibility: facilities open 24/7/365; availability to ensure continuous service.
