Base pay range Senior Support Worker - Temp to Perm Opportunity | Reading (RG2)
At Key Health, we pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve built with our clients, supporting them in a timely and professional manner. We’re looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care across the Reading (RG2) area.
This is a temporary-to-permanent role, with a 12-week probation period, after which you’ll transition to a permanent position.
Brief Role:
You will provide person-centred support and care to people with support needs at our services in Reading. This includes respectful personal care, emotional and practical support with daily activities and living tasks.
You will supervise staff and deploy staff time efficiently in line with service user needs and preferences.
You will collaborate with service users, families and involved professionals to maximise outcomes for service users.
You will assist senior staff in the coordination and operational management of the service to ensure that service user needs, preferences and contract requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in adult social care in the UK.
Supervisory experience or confidence to lead a team (desirable).
Full manual UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Right to work in the UK (we are not able to offer sponsorship).
Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable).
Able to provide two references (one must be your most recent or current employer).
Location:
Based across multiple services in Reading (RG2, RG1, RG4).
Hours:
37.5 hours per week including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, based on service needs.
Pay Rates (During 12-Week Probation):
Weekday: £15.80/hour
Nights & Weekends: £16.00/hour
