Purpose of role The Reinsurance Operations Assistant provides essential administrative, operational, and technical support to the reinsurance team. This role ensures accurate processing of reinsurance contracts, maintains high-quality data within internal systems, and supports underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end operational delivery. Essential Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services operations. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Comfortable working with large volumes of data and following structured processes. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Preferred Experience in a reinsurance environment (broker, carrier, or MGA). Familiarity with policy administration systems, credit control / premiums processing, and/or underwriting platforms. Understanding of reinsurance concepts (e.g., treaty vs facultative, premiums, claims, aggregates). Basic knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market processes What do we offer in return?
