Head of Property & CasualtyLocation: London (City-based, hybrid working available)Salary: Up to £110,000 + bonus + benefitsJob Type: Full-time, permanentAbout the client:I’m working in partnership with a well-established, independent Lloyd’s broker to identify a Head of Property & Casualty to lead and grow their P&C proposition across the UK and European markets. This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for a driven, senior broking professional who enjoys strategy, development and leadership, as well as hands-on technical work.The OpportunityYou’ll join a London Market business with over 50 years of trading history and a trusted network of broker partners across the UK and Europe. Backed by an independent, family-run group with ambitious long-term plans, the business is built on service, access, and strong insurer relationships.As Head of P&C, you will:• Lead the growth and development of the Property & Casualty class of business, delivering against revenue and strategic targets• Act as the in-house expert and primary referral point for P&C matters• Support both UK and European broking teams with access to London Market solutions• Build, maintain and manage broker and insurer relationships• Work closely with senior leadership to drive business development initiatives across both new business and renewals• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team membersWhat my client is looking for• Extensive experience in Property & Casualty broking within the Lloyd’s or London Market• Proven track record in new business development and strategic client management• Strong market relationships and ability to negotiate effectively• A natural leader with a collaborative and inclusive approach to working with teams• Experience working with UK and European broker networks (desirable)What’s On Offer• Salary up to £110,000 depending on experience• Performance bonus• Generous benefits package• Hybrid working with a City of London office base• A people-first, independent broker with a clear long-term visionIf you’re a senior P&C professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role or already leading but looking for a more entrepreneurial, values-driven environment, I’d love to hear from you.
