About the Client
Our client in the sustainable energy and climate sector is dedicated to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.
They’re currently looking for a motivated Sustainability Graduate to join their dynamic team — someone with a passion for climate change and decarbonisation, and an interest in applying digital tools to support this vital work.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support projects focused on climate change mitigation, decarbonisation strategies, and sustainable energy systems.
The main focus will be on climate and sustainability projects, with opportunities to develop digital skills — including Python and data visualisation tools.
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with remote work and just one day per month required in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of climate change and decarbonisation projects for various clients.
* Assist with data analysis, sustainability reporting, and carbon footprint assessments.
* Contribute to decarbonisation strategies and energy modelling projects.
* Help develop digital tools, dashboards, and visualisations.
* Ideal candidates are recent graduates or final-year students in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Energy Systems, or related fields.
* Strong interest in climate change, decarbonisation, and sustainable energy.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Some exposure to digital tools or coding (Python, front-end tech, Hyperscript) is a plus, but willingness to learn is valued.
* Experience with carbon footprinting, sustainability reporting frameworks, or climate risk assessments is desirable.
* Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Plotly, etc.) is a plus.
* Interest or experience in digital environmental analysis applications.
What’s on Offer
* A salary of £30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience.
