Job Title: Mental Health Prison Nurse in Scotland
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care including administering medications, treatments monitoring vital signs.
* Assess patient conditions and provide necessary interventions.
* Collaborate with doctors, healthcare professionals and families to ensure patient well-being.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Dealing with patients with challenging behaviour.
* Awareness of prison needs in relation to Mental Health and Addictions support and the ability to work across these areas.

Requirements:
* Valid Nursing registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) for the UK.
* 12 months recent paid experience completed at ward level within an NHS hospital setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Prison experience is desired.
