The States of Guernsey is seeking to appoint a Senior Staff Nurse responsible for delivering high standards of care to high dependency and critically ill patients during allocated shifts. The role involves liaising with multidisciplinary teams and providing support and advice to patients, relatives, and colleagues.
The post-holder will deliver personalized patient care based on best practice principles, developing theoretical knowledge for caring for patients with acute physiological needs. This includes in-depth understanding of ventilation, sepsis, renal replacement therapy, and acute cardiac interventions, meeting the National Critical Care Competencies.
You will serve as a role model for less experienced nursing staff and contribute to departmental initiatives to enhance High Dependency and Critical Care.
We offer a comprehensive relocation package covering interview and travel expenses, alongside competitive pay, an annual bonus, and an additional bonus scheme of £3,000 payable after two and four years. We also provide either subsidized accommodation or an 8-year permit to rent or buy property privately with financial assistance.
