Job Description
The salary for this role is £31,100. This role primarily requires onsite presence, with potential for remote work one day per week in the future after the probation period.
This role is based at the site: Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role

As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical administration and coordination duties to teams and projects in support of the RRDD (Robotics, Repurposing & Decommissioning Directorate) portfolio, ensuring that Technical Control procedures are followed and proactively working with these procedures, and maintaining accurate and effective documentation.
Key Accountabilities:
* Create and manage key technical documentation.
* Be accountable for the management and maintenance of SharePoint data and spreadsheet management.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets and create summary dashboard documents for reporting.
* Support the unit leaders with change management with respect to Technical Control Documents and Work Control Documents.
* Support the section leaders, group leaders, and engineers with the many technical and coordination duties involved across the programs.
* Ensure operations and technical control procedures are followed and proactively work with these procedures, producing, checking, and validating to maintain accurate “live” documents.
* Support with recruitment campaigns from an administrative perspective.
* Assist in maintaining skills matrixes across the directorate.
* Provide technical secretary duties including organizing meetings, taking minutes, creating summary reports, and action log follow-up.
* Support new starters' induction and onboarding.
* Support early careers members and schemes, including internships, graduates, and apprentices.
* Provide procurement liaison support, helping across teams to track orders and support procurement and delivery to the manufacturing teams.
* Assist in collating information for key reporting, e.g., Directors Reports.
* Manage skills data processing and management.
* Support training plans and training records.
* Maintain organizational charts.
* Highlight conferences, roadshows relevant for technical development.
* Maintain standards records.
* Maintain schedule for apprentice placements.
Qualifications
* HNC/Apprentice or equivalent in Business, Science, or Engineering-related disciplines.
* IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and SharePoint.
* Excellent technical report writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, networking, and influencing skills.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to adapt to and work within a variety of situations.
* Professional approach to business needs.
* Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision.
